Formula for kinetic energy

An object will have kinetic energy when it is moving, it’s that simple!

For example: a car with a mass of 1500kg, travelling at a speed of 22 m/s will have a kinetic energy of = ½ x 1500 x 222 = 363,000 Joules or 363 kJ
